At Vareus Events, we specialize in wedding planning and design. The two services often go hand-in-hand for in town or average sized weddings. If your wedding is up in the mountains, out on the coast, or deep in The Gorge, we can help you create a design you won’t have to pack up and move back with you at the end of your perfect day.

If you need detailed and creative full service floral design, for any size event, Anywhere in Oregon, we can do that. If you just need planning and decor set up and design services, we do that, too. If you need a little bit or a whole lot of both, we’ll do it all, or coordinate and source the vendors to create the exact setting perfect for your love story.

While your Pinterest and Instagram are probably filled with inspiring images, not everyone is good at conceptualizing how to condense their great ideas down in to a planned cohesive design. DIY designs inspired from the internet can sometimes overwhelm even the craftiest of couples. From bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces to custom designed altars or chuppas, specialty linen rentals, escort cards, table charts, and favors, we can help put it all together for you, or coordinate all of the vendors required to pull off one cohesive look. I’m Sadie, I have spent 20 years in various roles as an event planner. As a professional, I have experience planning high-end religious and non-denominational weddings. As a volunteer, I’ve organized non-profit auctions, and other fundraisers to benefit area schools, youth organizations and other causes. As a community organizer, I’ve organized, trained, and worked with volunteers for different causes and campaigns I believe in.

Vareus Events is different, because I am a very different wedding planner. I’m a professional Certified Wedding Planner, I don’t run a hobby business or mass produce weddings using the same venue or vendors. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to help plan some of the most beautiful ceremonies at breathtaking resorts, neighborhood churches and venues – first in San Diego, where I grew up and started my first small planning company, and now today in Portland, where I’ve raised my kids for the past seventeen years. What I value most in planning a wedding: is the love story we are telling in each wedding we plan. Let’s celebrate what brought you together, and the reason why you want to spend your lives together.
